Tibet in London – Journey to the Forbidden Land

deepspaceworks in collaboration with ‘Tibet, a Living Tradition’ is proud to present Ugyen Choephell’s exhibition, ‘Tibet in London – Journey to the Forbidden Land’. http://www.tibetalivingtradition.co.uk/exhib2012.htm

Timed to coincide with HH Dalai Lama’s visit to the UK and just a 12 minute walk away from The Royal Albert Hall where His Holiness is to deliver his talk “Real Change Happens in the Heart,” 19th June, this extraordinary installation aims to offer an insight into the mysterious culture and traditions of Tibet.

Tibet in London is Ugyen’s latest idea, marking both the 2012 visit of His Holiness by offering him a symbolic return to Tibet and also giving Londoners and visitors a unique experience, making a trip to Tibet accessible for all.  The exhibition explores the art of contemplation and hopes to inspire visitors on their own personal journeys.

Viewers may also experience life as a nomad in the yak hair tent, create their own prayer flag messages, and relax with Tibetan style refreshments.
