Raw Food Pot-luck & optional Meditation
Following the success of our first Raw Food Pot-luck evening in January we are bringing more wholesome collaborations involving food, relaxation and friendship to deepspaceworks.
In January, thanks to Makeda Bernard of Relax with Jay’niyah, we took part in a grounding session of sound meditation which was led by Gerry Russell using Chinese gongs and Tibetan singing bowls, after which Gerry invited us to play them ourselves!
And then came the feast! A wonderful rainbow coloured variety of sweet and savoury Raw Food dishes complete with listed ingredients to advise in case of allergies – or perhaps to have a go at replicating at home! Thanks to Tori Clissold for inviting deepspaceworks to host these pot-lucks.
Our next Raw Food Pot-luck evening is in the gallery on
Thursday 25th February
and begins with a heart-centred meditation led by Makeda beginning at 6.30, so best to arrive by 6.15pm followed by our supper of suprises with good natter (when we’re not too silently indulging!).
You are welcome to join us for the supper alone so we suggest you join us at 7pm for that.
All you need to bring is a single ready to serve raw vegan dish to share and some loose change to make a donation (up to £3 suggested) to the self-funded deepspaceworks.
If raw-food is tempting but new to you, your favourite sweet or savoury salad will be just perfect. Please accompany it with a list of ingredients.
Also coming up: A Raw Food pot-luck Easter treat on Easter Day, Sunday 27th March, involving lots of CACAO!
