Mary Meets Mohammed

‘Mary Meets Mohammad’ director and producer, Heather Kirkpatrick, won an Australia Day Award in 2013 for the ‘Promotion of Muslim and Non Muslim Understanding.’

Mary says “When Mohammad was released from detention, I observed an astoundingly deep connection develop between him and Mary, which became the strength and focus of the story. I hope the cross cultural and cross religious challenges they come to meet will resonate with audiences both here in Australia and worldwide.”

A film review in The Tasmanian Times by Lindsay Tuffin. “Miss this … and you are mad. Certifiably so. It’s a stunner. The most beautiful story. So evocative, so powerful. So utterly, fully, human. The story of Mary Meeting Mohammad.”

Mary Meets Mohammed runs for 80 minutes, following an introduction from members of Cheltenham Welcomes Refugees
