FOODBANK collection point at deepspaceworks

Next time you pop into deepspaceworks you will probably notice a very big green and pink and brown cardboard box, painted for us by Lette, one of our students at ArtAble. With help from others her wonderful box, now adorned with an informative notice and placed in our foyer by deepspacegallery doors, is ready to receive gifts and donations of food and other items for those truly in need in the area.

ArtAble student, Kim, is a volunteer at the Guiting Power branch of the North Cotswold Foodbank, seeded by The Trussell Trust, which also runs branches at Bishops Cleeve, Winchcombe, Moreton in the Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and Chipping Camden.

We hope to fill and refill our foodbank donations box several times before the Christmas boxes are made up for delivery from the Guiting Power branch.

Please help our very humble in the scheme of things target and bring some basic foodstuffs & essential non-food items with some Christmas cheer for local people in need. And we’d be grateful if you could help to spread the word too!
