Sophia Bloxham

I am a freelance illustrator based at deepspaceworks, where happily settled into my studio space a year after graduating in BA(hons) Illustration at University College Falmouth.

I have a diverse range of work, including watercolours, collage and my more well known style using fine papercuts. My work has a delicate and decorative feel with a feminine character which is inspired by pattern, textures and intricate design. I work in a variety of media but gravitate to more tactile works which is influenced by my passion of handmade craftwork including sewing and embroidery. I am currently working on a project of technical drawings for sue ryder which again is pushing me into new areas of design work.
