Today we are introducing two artists, Nigel Dineen and Richard Williams, who are usually to be found developing their ideas at OASIS art sessions on Tuesdays.
We have already had the pleasure of hanging works by Nigel and Richard at deepspacegallery. Both have distinct styles; Nigel’s paintings often stand out once the viewer has spotted some unrelated distraction within, while Richard’s abstracts reveal a keen grasp of space and the relationships to be found between external and internal structures.
The images below are presented as sent, unforgettably made during lockdown.

Wow – these artists connected to Deepspaceworks are a busy bunch! Its great to see so much creativity happening in these dark times.
I go to the art sessions at Oasis; which is sadly currently closed. Just was interested to know peoples’opinions on photo-realism – have seen some work by Sophie Edwards – they are superb in their genre; but is this actually technically ‘art’ or great draughtsmanship? Just interested to know – only the work above is really more expressive.
Wow richards paintings are incredible.
