Thank you to Cheltenham Literature Festival committee members and Niki Whitfield, Art Development, for inviting artistbookarts to dress the foyer of The Forum venue at this year’s festival with an exhibition of Artist’s Books.
Thanks also to The University of Gloucestershire Libraries and to Two Wood Press and Sue Brown for loans of artist’s book works. The aim of the exhibition was to show how text, type and storytelling translate into the visual arts through a variety of methods and, of course, to provide a visual feast for Festival visitors.
I can’t wait to be staying at hotels cheltenham for a relaxing weekend away and to see what Cheltenham has to offer.
