ArtAble provides opportunities for adults with difficulties and disabilities, to pursue and develop their artistic interests and ambitions through activity, research and presentation opportunities.
ArtAble classes are available throughout 2014 on Wednesdays during term time. Details below.
Activity: process and making, art history and techniques.
Research: deepspacelibrary and resources, field trips, discussion, keeping sketchbooks, talks and demonstrations.
Presentation: exhibition, performance, web page and link e.g. Fine Form: The Horse in Art in collaboration with Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum, Health & Happiness, deepspacegallery 2013.
Tutors: Su Billington MA, PTLLS & Pippa Mills BA, NVQ2 Learning Difficulties & Social Care, First Aid. Tutors hold up to date CRB/DBS checks.
Venue: deepspacegallery, 11 Hamilton St, Charlton Kings, GL53 8HN
Days & Times: Wednesdays 10 – 12.30 Advanced 1.30 – 4 pm
Fee: mornings = £6.50 afternoons (advanced) = £8. Fees include basic materials and refreshments. A system for donations will operate for provision of superior materials where and when required.
