The April Busy Bazaar comes to deepspaceworks this Saturday, 20th April from 12 – 4pm where you can expect to find lots of lovely things on sale plus some activities for the kids. Entry Free!
As well as our regular Shadow Puppet theatre at 2pm (this month featuring a tale from the Aztecs) there will be an opportunity for the kids to do some colouring-in involving some original artwork.
“Mr & Mrs Sparrow” is a Children’s Storybook by Sue Smith, who will be at the bazaar with her book, accompanied by Jess the illustrator who will be sketching some of the characters. We will have an arty area set up for the kids where outlines of the book’s characters will be on sale to colour in.
We have racks of Retro & Vintage Clothes plus more vintage handbags, shoes, jewellery and bits & pieces sold in aid of Sue Ryder.
Kath will be selling her hand made ‘Go Womble’ products that range from badges to bags, created by recycling all sorts of unwanted things from bottle tops to old jeans and cassette tapes.
Tomato plants and Herb plants will be available from Pete who is thankfully far more ahead than most of us with his greenhouse sowings this spring!
Sammi’s Trinkets for adornments include beautiful individual pieces of jewellery made from quality materials that are sourced as locally as possible. From exquisitely twisted silver to fun ‘Fimo’, Sam handcrafts a range of materials into jewellery for every day wear to special occasions.
Debbie will feature her hand crafted Mosaics & Stained Glass pieces alongside her portfolio of larger works for anyone interested in special commissions.
Handmade books, original artwork, prints and cards plus records, books, bric a brac and bargains are all on sale with refreshments available for donations in aid of the disabled loo fund.
