In collaboration with Carers Gloucestershire, deepspaceworks launches ‘Art For Your Sake’: Creative Carers drop-in.
Thursday 1st October 11am – 2pm drop-in.
Do you have a caring responsibility; supporting family, friend or neighbour who needs help because of long term illness, disability or some difficult circumstance?
Do any of these statements apply to you…?
- I’d like to try something creative but am frightened of looking a fool
- I have done some art but that was years ago
- I do enjoy creative things but haven’t got anywhere to do it
- I’d like to meet other carers but want to be doing something, not just sit around in a circle
If any of these are true for you then please join us for our first free taster session of
‘Art For Your Sake’
and drop-in whenever you like between 11am and 2pm on Thursday 1st October
During the session there will be opportunities to try out a variety of art activities using different materials and to discuss ideas and plans for future sessions.
All our welcome; ‘frustrated creatives’ through to ‘not sure what to do’s’ will be catered for and refreshments provided.
